Heterogamous capitulum -

when younger flower are present towards the center and older towards the periphery called centripetal, central flowers are called disc floret. periphery flowers are called ray floret. and this arrangement is called heterogamous

- wherein

This is most advanced type of inflorescence because all flowers are polluated at same time  eg- marigold, sunflower, zinnia
