Both statements are incorrect because The counter pressure exerted by the wall over the swelling protoplast is known as cell wall pressure and If a plant cell is placed in pure water or a solution with a lower concentration of the sap inside the cell, water will enter the cell by osmosis which presses against the cell wall. This pressure is called Solute pressure. Hence, the correct answer is option 2.
