Let's say time taken by stone to reach top of the well  is equal to t1

h = \frac{1}{2}gt_{1}^{2}

\Rightarrow t_{1} = \sqrt{2gh}

Now t2 is time taken by sound to reach the observer

t_{2} = \frac{h}{v}

total time T = t1+t2

\Rightarrow T = \sqrt{2gh}+\frac{h}{v}
