Example: Dicot except eucalyptus.

  • Dicot leaf is characterized by upper and lower epidermis cuticle, mesophyll cells and vasculat bundles. Upper surface cuticle is thick.
  • Hypostomatic- Stomata present on lower surface.
  • Amphistomatic- When lower surface has more stomata than upper surface.
  • Mesophyll is divided into palisade (upper) and spongy (lower) tissue.
