Flagellum -

Organ of motality in bacteria. Arise from basal granule called blepharoplast.

Made up of basal body, hook and filament.

Flagellum is the organ of motality in bacteria , formed of protein called flagellin.

Cilia also helps in the movement but found in eukaryotic cells.

Pili and fimbriae are not involved in locomotion.

Pili form conjugation tube for the transfer of genetic material during bacterial conjugation.

Fimbriae take part in adhesion of bacteria to solid surfaces.
