Density of water is 1 \mathrm{~g}/cm^3 ,  ie 1 ~cm^3=1 \mathrm{~g} of water.
In 1 \mathrm{~g~mole}  or 18 \mathrm{~g} water there are total 6.02 \times 10^{23} molecules.

Hence, in 1 \mathrm{~g} of water (or 1 \mathrm{~cm}^3 of water) number of molecules should be
=\frac{6.20 \times 10^{23}}{18} \approx \frac{1}{3} \times 10^{23}
