\begin{aligned} & P_{\text {gas }}+P_{\mathrm{H}_2} \mathrm{O}=8 \mathrm{atm} \\ & P_{g a s}=8 \--. 2 atm \\ & =7.8 \text { atm } \\ & \end{aligned}

As volume is doubled

\left(P_{\text {gas }}\right)_{\text {New }}=3.9 \text { atm }
Now Total Pressure

=3.9+2=4.1 \mathrm{~atm}
