As we learnt in Rms speed of gas molecules -

V_{rms}=\sqrt{(3RT/M)}

- wherein
M- Molecular Mass , R- Gas Constant , T- Temperature
Therefore,

\frac{(V_rms)_1}{(V_{rms})_2}=\frac{\sqrt{T_1/M_1}}{\sqrt{T_2/M_2}}

 

Now, T_1=50K,M_1=2

         T_2=800K,M_2=32

On putting these values, we get:

(V_{rms})_{H_2}/(V_{rms})_{O_2}=1
