Option: 1

\mathrm{\mathrm{Na}_2 \mathrm{SO}_4}

Option: 2

\mathrm{\mathrm{CaCl}_2}

Option: 3

\mathrm{NaCl}

Option: 4

\left.\mathrm{Ca(HCO}_3\right)_2

Answers (1)

Temporary hardnem is due to presence of soluble \mathrm{Ca}\left(\mathrm{HCO}_3\right)_2 / \mathrm{Mg}\left(\mathrm{HCO}_3\right)_2

Peromanent hardness is due to presence of \mathrm{CaCl}_2 / \mathrm{CasO}_4 / \mathrm{MgSO}_4 / \mathrm{MgCl}_2

Temparary hardness of water is also called corbonate hardness which can be easily removed by boiling  by treating with \mathrm{Ca}(\mathrm{OH})_2

Hence option 4 is correct.
