Exocrine salivary glands create and secrete saliva into the mouth through ducts. Saliva includes enzymes that aid in food digestion and lubricates and moistens food to make swallowing simpler. Salivary glands are not regarded as endocrine glands since they are not involved in the synthesis or release of hormones into the circulation. Hence option 3 is the correct answer.

Explanation for the incorrect options :

Option 1 is incorrect because Thyroid is an endocrine gland. Thyroid hormones, which control growth and development and metabolism, are created and secreted by the thyroid gland.

Option  2 is incorrect because gonads are an endocrine gland. Sex hormones including estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone are produced and secreted by the gonads, which are the ovaries in females and the testes in males.

Option  4  is incorrect because Pancreas is the endocrine as well as the exocrine gland. Several hormones, including insulin and glucagon, which control blood glucose levels are produced and secreted by the pancreas.
