(ii) Long-day plants (LDP) :  Spinach (Spinacea oleracea), Henbane (Hyoscyamus niger), Radish, Sugar-beet, Wheat, Lettuce, Poppy, Larkspur, Maize, etc.

(iii) Day-neutral plants: Cucumber, cotton, sunflower, tomato, some varieties of peas, etc.
