Marked price of dress = Rs120

Discount rate = 20%

\\\\ \\Total\ discount =Marked\ Price\times \frac{Discount\ rate}{100}\\ \\Total\ discount=120\times \frac{20}{100}\\ \\Total\ discount=Rs.24\\

Selling price (SP) = Marked price - Total discount = Rs (120- 24) = Rs 96.
