The frequency of oscillation of an object of mass m attached to a spring of spring constant k is given by

\\\nu =\frac{1}{2\pi }\sqrt{\frac{k}{m}}\\ \nu =\frac{1}{2\pi }\times \sqrt{\frac{1200}{3}}\\ \nu =3.183\ Hz
