 a1 v1 = a2 v2

\frac{v1}{v2}= \frac{a2}{a1}

\frac{v1}{v2} =\frac{ d2^{2}}{d1^{2}}

putting values,

\frac{v1}{v2} = \frac{\left ( 3.75 \times 3.75 \right )}{2.5 \times 2.5} =\frac{9}{4}

so, v1: v2 = 9:4. Hence option a is correct.
