2. Consider the following parallelograms. Find the values of the unknowns $x, y, z$ .

In a parallelogram, adjacent angles are supplementary to each other.

$\angle B+\angle C = 180\degree$

$100\degree+ x = 180\degree$

$x = 80\degree$

Opposite angles are equal .

Hence, z = $x = 80\degree$

and y = 100 $\degree$
