The quadrant OACB is a sector with an angle of 90o and a radius of 3.5 cm.

Thus the area of the quadrant is:-

 =\ \frac{90^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}}\times \pi \times 3.5^2

=\ \frac{77}{8}\ cm^2

Hence the area of the quadrant is    \frac{77}{8}\ cm^2   .
