Q9  In Fig. 6.39, ABC and AMP are two right triangles, right angled at B and M respectively. Prove that:
          \frac{CA }{PA } = \frac{BC }{MP}

To prove :  

                  \frac{CA }{PA } = \frac{BC }{MP}

In \Delta ABC \, \, and\, \, \Delta AMP,

\angle ABC=\angle AMP     ( Each 90 \degree)

\angle A=\angle A                     ( common)

\Delta ABC \sim \Delta AMP   ( By AA criterion )

  \frac{CA }{PA } = \frac{BC }{MP}                ( corresponding parts of similar triangles )

Hence proved
