We need to multiply (2.5l - 0.5m) and (2.5l + 0..5m)
(2.5l - 0.5m) X (2.5l + 0..5m)    = (2.5l)^{2} - (0.5m)^{2}                                    using    (a-b)(a+b) = (a)^{2} - (b)^{2}
                                                  = 6.25l^{2}  - 0.25m^{2}
