Answers (1)

[200/x]-[200/x-5]=2

[1/x]-[1/x+5]=2/200

[5/x²+5x]=1/100

x²+5x=500
x²+5x-500=0

by quadratic equation

-b(+/-)*(√b²-4ac)/2a

-5(+/-)*(√25+2000)/2

-5(+/-)*(√2025)/2

-5(+/-)*(45)/2

-5+45/2 = 40/2 = 20 correct

-5-45/2 = -50/2 = -25 cancel

ans = 20
