solution: By remainder theorem , required remainder is equal to p(1)

Now ,       p(x)=x^4-3x^2+2x+1

Rightarrow            p(1)=1^4-3	imes1^2+2	imes1+1=1

Hence , required remainder =p(1)=1 .
