Kolkata is India's second biggest city. It is a metropolis city which is situated at India's Eastern coast. Kolkata is also known as city of joy and it is filled with art, culture, celebration and festival in every possible way. Kolkata's state and city is filled with light,  enthusiasm and life. The city is a combination of banks of Hoogly, peaceful sunset and countless bazaars gleaming with clothes, artifacts and shiny objects. 

The city is home to famous Rabindranath Tagore's ancestral house. The house is now converted into a museum for the general public and contains a collection of family portraits and paintings. There are many ghats on this city from where sunset is seen. The most famous of these ghats is Prinsep Ghat from where you can see Vidyasagar Setu. It is also surrounded by pretty water park known as Millennium Park. 

The place Kolkata is a place for historians. Kolkata is home to India's oldest largest and oldest museum. Due to the unique history of Britishers and Mughal Raj with Kolkata   this place is filled with important and praiseworthy artefacts, paintings, displays, fossils, antiques and armours. Thus, this place is culturally, socially and historically important. It is an important part of India's heritage and culture.
