How many bricks, each measuring 25 cm x 11.25 cm x 6 cm, will be needed to build a wall of 8 m x 6 m x 22.5 cm?

Answers (1)

Volume of wall = 8 m x 6 m x 22.5 cm

                        = 800 cm x 600 cm x 22.5cm

                          = 10,800,000 cm3

Volume of each brick= 25 cm x 11.25 cm x 6cm

                                 =1687.5 cm3

Hence the number of bricks needed = 1080000/1687.5 = 6400 bricks
