For calculating momentum, we need the final velocity of the bell.

By equation of motion we can write :

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

or v^2 = 0^2 + 2	imes 10	imes 0.8

or v = 4 m/s

Thus the momentum is : p = mv

or = 10	imes 4 = 40 Kg m/s
