Solution: Let S1 and S2 be the surface Area of the hemispherical ballon when its

radii are 7 cm and 14 cm respectively . Then

\ S1=3pi imes 7^2;and; S2=3pi imes 14^2\ \Rightarrow S1/S2=1/4\ \Rightarrow S1:S2=1:4
