The velocity time graph shows the motion of a cyclist. Find (1) its acceleration (ii) its velocity and (iii) the distance covered by the cyclist in 15 seconds

Answers (1)

i) acceleration =0 since there is no change in the velocity.

ii)Velocity is constant and = 20 m/sec

iii) distance travelled in 15 sec = v x t = 20 x 15=300 meter.
