Horatian Ode - It is also known as Personal Ode. This kind of ode has been named after the Latin poet, Horace, who imitated Pindar but with far reaching differences. It may be rhymed or unrhymed. This ode is light and personal without the elaboration and complexity of the Pindaric. Some notable examples are : Colin's 'Ode to Simplicity' and 'Ode to Evening',
