Velocity at 3 sec  = (15+3*3^{2})=42\: ms^{-1}

Velocity at 5 sec  = (15+3*5^{2})=90\: ms^{-1}
Then the avg acceleration = \frac{90-42}{5-3}=24\: ms^{-2}
