When dil. \mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{SO}_4 is electrolysed, the possible ions in the solution are \mathrm{H}^{+}, \mathrm{OH_2}-\mathrm{H}^{+}, \mathrm{OH}^{-} and suplhate ion.
Oxidation takes place at anode and reduction takes place at cathode. \mathrm{H}^{+} is the only cation present in the solution. Hence, hydrogen ion shall reduce to hydrogen at cathode.
