Find and correct the errors in the following mathematical statements:

$2 x+3 y=5 x y$

An equation is a mathematical expression of equality between two algebraic expressions that have equal values.
Given, $2 x+3 y=5 x y$
Here, L.H.S $=2 x+3 y$.
Simplifying it further is not possible as the expression is in its simplest form and values of $x$ and $y$ are not known.
But, it is given that R.H.S $=5 x y$
Thus, L.H.S. $\neq$ R.H.S.
So, for correct statement we need to replace either $5xy$ in RHS with $2 x+3 y$

Hence, the correct statement is $2 x+3 y=2 x+3 y$.
