By actual division, find the quotient and the remainder when the first polynomial isdivided by the second polynomial : x^{2}+4:x-1

Solution

Let       p(x)=x^{4}+1

            g(x)=x-1

            Divide p(x)  and g(x)

           

Quotient =x^{3}+x^{2}+x+1

  Remainder =2
