Steps of construction:
(i) Draw an angle \angle A O B=80^{\circ} with the help of a protractor.
(ii) Draw an arc with centre O and any convenient radius meeting OB at P and OA at Q.
(iii) Draw an arc with centres at P and radius more than half of PQ.

(iv) Draw another arc with centres at Q and the same radius as previously which cuts the previous arc at R.
(v) Join OR which bisects arc PQ at S.

(vi) Draw an arc with centres at P and radius more than half of PS.

(vii) Draw another arc with centres at S and the same radius as previously which cuts the previous arc at U.
(viii) Join OU which bisects arc PS.

(ix) Draw an arc with centres at Q and radius more than half of QS.

(x) Draw another arc with centres at S and the same radius as previously which cuts the previous arc at V.
(xi) Join OV which bisects arc QS.

\angle A O V=\angle V O R=\angle R O U=20^{\circ}
