Answers (1)

(i) Set square

  • Draw a line using the ruler
  • Place a ruler with one of its edges along line l.
  • Place a set square with one of its edges along the already aligned edge of the ruler, and the right-angled corner coincides with P.
  • Draw the line PQ along the edge of set square.

(ii) Protractor

  • Draw a line using the ruler
  • Place a ruler with one of its edges along line l.
  • Place a Protractor with one of its edges along the already aligned edge of the ruler, and its center falls on point P.

(ii) Ruler and Compass

  • Draw a line using the ruler with Point P.
  • Take P as the center and draw an arc which the line l at point A and point B.
  • Take point A and point B as a center and radius more than AP. Draw acrs which cuts at point Q.
  • The line PQ is perpendicular to line l.
