Steps of construction:\

  • Draw a ray OA using ruler.
  • Draw an arc with centre O and any convenient radius which cuts OA at X.
  • Draw an arc with the centre X and same radius which cuts the previous arc at U.
  • Draw a line that joins OU and produce it to any point B.
  • Now Draw an arc with centre X and radius more than half of UX.
  • Draw an arc with the centre U and the same radius which cuts the previous arc at V.
  • Draw a line that joins OV and produce it to any point C which cuts the arc UX at W.
  • Now Draw an arc with centre X and radius more than half of WX.
  • Draw an arc with the centre W and the same radius which cuts the previous arc at Z.
  • Draw a line that joins OZ and produce it to any point D.
  • Now Draw an arc with centre U and radius more than half of WU.
  • Draw an arc with the centre W and the same radius which cuts the previous arc at P.
  • Draw a line that joins OP and produce it to any point E.

Now from protector we can measure angles-

\angle \mathrm{BOE}=\angle \mathrm{EOC}=\angle \mathrm{COD}=\angle \mathrm{DOA}=15^{\circ}
