The model of the atom proposed by Neil Bohr was applicable for the hydrogen atom and some other light atoms containing only one electron around the nucleus which is stationary having a positive charge, Ze (called a hydrogen-like atom, e.g., H, He+, Li+2, Na+1 etc). But one of the limitations of the model is that it is not applicable to hydrogen in its molecular form and also in case of He atom.
