What could be the harmful effects of improper management of industrial and domestic solid waste in a city?

(i) If domestic waste is not disposed of properly, it may go to sewers and be eaten by cattle, and if they swallow polythene bags, it may result in their death.
(ii) Non-biodegradable waste can choke the sewers.
(iii) Improper disposal of waste is considered as the major cause of environmental pollution.
