Hint:

            \frac{d y}{d x}=\frac{\frac{d y}{d t}}{\frac{d x}{d t}}

Given:

            x=a t^{2} \ ,  \begin{aligned} &\\ &y=2 a t \end{aligned}

Solution:

x=a t^{2} \

\ \frac{d x}{d y}=\frac{d\left(a t^{2}\right)}{d t}=2 a t

\begin{aligned} &\\ &y=2 a t \end{aligned}

\frac{d y}{d t}=\frac{d(2 a t)}{d t}=2 a

\begin{aligned} &\\ &\frac{d y}{d x}=\frac{\frac{d x}{d t}}{\frac{d x}{d t}}=\frac{2 a}{2 a t}=\frac{1}{t} \end{aligned}
