Hint: Draw the graph

Given: The minimum requirement of vitamin A,B and C are 18 units, 45 units and 24 units.

Solution: Let ‘x’ be number of bags and ‘y’ be a number of Q bags.

                  Minimum z = 250x + 200y         

                   sub to,

                       \begin{aligned} &3 x+1.5 y \geq 18 \\ \end{aligned}  ......(i)

                       \begin{aligned} &2.5 x+11.25 y \geq 45 \\ \end{aligned} ...(ii)

                       \begin{aligned} &2 x+3 y \geq 24 \\ \end{aligned} ...........(iii)

                        \begin{aligned} &x \geq 0, y \geq 0 \end{aligned}

                Solving (i) & (ii),

                            x=9,y=2

A[18,0] 27000
B[9,2]     625
C[3,6]   1950
D[0,12]    2400

                                                      Minimum cost: 625
