If the feasible region for an LPP is unbounded

Hint:

Maximum value of an LPP must be at one corner

Given:

If the feasible region for an LPP is ______ , then the optimal value of the objective function,  z=ax+by

Solution:

If the feasible region is unbounded, then we may or may not have a maximum or minimum of objective function.

But, if we have a maximum value, then it must be at one corner points only.

So, if the feasible region for an LPP is unbounded, then the optimal value of the objective function z=ax+by exist or may not.
