Ans: It is indeed true that a ball of snow when rolled over snow increases in mass,volume, and size because of the accumulation of the snow on the outer surface of the snowball. But the growth in the living organisms occurs due to the internal accumulation of the material that happens in the case of meiosis and mitosis in the cells. The formation of the new cells makes for increased mass and protoplasm in living beings. But the process of growth in the living organisms is certainly different from the snowball.
