How can you differentiate between free central and axile placentation?

Answers (1)

A placentation is regarded as free central when the septa are absent, and the ovules are born on the central axis in a unicellular ovary.

A placentation is regarded as axile when the placenta is axial and the ovules are attached to the placenta in the axial position in a multilocular ovary.
