A triangle ABC can be constructed in which BC = 6 cm, \angle C=60^{\circ} and AC – AB = 4 cm.

Given :  BC = 6 cm, \angle C=60^{\circ} and AC – AB = 4 cm.

The theorem of inequalities says that the sum of two sides of a triangle is greater than the third side.

i.e.,      BC + AB > AC

            BC > AC – AB

            Putting the given values, we have:    

            6 > 4    (True)

This type of triangle can be constructed.

Therefore the given statement is True.
