Answer: Class size is 10

Classmark is the mid-value or the central value of a class

It is calculated as follows :

\frac{\text {upper limit}+\text {lower limit}}{2}

Here midpoints are given as 5, 15, 25, 35, 45

So corresponding classes will be: 0-10, 10-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50

The given frequencies are :

0-10: 4, 10-20: 8, 20-30: 13, 30-40: 12, 40-50: 6

Continuous grouped frequency distribution table:

Hence, the class size is 10
