Solution

Given:- Area of circular playground = 22176 m2

Rate of fencing = 50 Rs. per meter

Circumference of circle =2 \pi r

We have to find the radius (r) of playground

Area of playground =\pi r^{2}

\\22176=\frac{22}{7}\times r^{2}\\\\ r^{2}=\frac{22176 \times 7}{22}\\\\ r^{2}=\frac{155232}{22}\\\\ r^{2}=7056\\ r=\sqrt{7056}\\ r=84m

Circumference of playground =2 \pi r

                                             \\=2 \times \frac{22}{7}\times 84\\ =528 m                                                          

Cost of fencing the playground = 528 \times 50

                                                 = 26,400 Rs.

Hence the cost of fencing the playground at the rate of 50 per meter is 26400 Rs.
