Solution

            

Given Diameter of circular pond = 17.5 m

Radius (r)=\frac{17.5}{2}m

Width of Path = 2m

R=r+width of path

            \\=\frac{17.5}{2}m+2m\\\\=\frac{17.5+4}{2}=10.75m

 Area of path =\pi(R^{2}-r^{2})

\\=\frac{22}{7}\times(10.75^{2}-8.75^{2})\\\\ =\frac{22}{7}\times(115.5625-76.5625)\\\\ =\frac{22}{7}\times(39)\\\\ =122.57m^{2}

Area of path = 122.57m2

Rate of construction = Rs 25 per m2

Cost of construction =25\times 122.57=3064.28Rs
