Perimeter of a square = 4 \times side

Radius of circle = a

Diameter of circle =2 \times  radius= 2a

Side of square =diameter of circle= 2a

Perimeter of square =4 \times side=4 \times 2a=8a

Perimeter of square is 8a

Hence given statement is true.
