Answers (1)

 (B) 128 cm2

Solution

Area of square =a2

Diagonal of square = Diameter of circle

Diagonal of square =8 \times 2 =16cm

Let the side of the square = a cm

Using Pythagoras theorem in ABC

 (16)2=a2+a2

2a2=256

a2=128

Area of square ABCD= a2

                                 =128 cm2
