\text{The given series is } \{1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, \ldots\} \\\text{ where } a_1 = 1, \quad a_2 = 1, \quad a_3 = 2, \quad a_4 = 2 \\ a_2 - a_1 = 1 - 1 = 0 \\ a_3 - a_2 = 2 - 1 = 1 \\ a_4 - a_3 = 2 - 2 = 0 \\

 

Here the difference in successive term is not the same. Hence it is not an AP.
