Solution:

Let’s put the corners on \text {z = 4x + 6y}

Corner points Corresponding value of  \text {z = 4x + 6y}
(0,2) 12 (minimum)
(3,0) 12 (minimum)
(6,0) 24
(6,8) 72 (maximum)
(0,5) 30

The maximum value of  z occurs at any point on the line segment joining the points (0,2) and (3,0)

So, the correct option is (d)
