Putting the corner points in $z=3 x-4 y$

Solution:

Corner points	$z=3 x-4 y$
$(5,0)$	$15\; \text{(maximum)}$
$(6,5)$	$-2$
$(6,8)$	$-14$
$(4,10)$	$-28$
$(0,8)$	$-32$

Maximum of $z=15$ aat $(5,0)$

Minimum of $z=-32(0,8)$

So maximum of z + minimum of $z=15-32=17$

Hence correct option is (d)
