Given resistors are 4\Omega ,2\Omega are connected in series

Equivalent Resistance = 4\Omega +2\Omega =6\Omega

Voltage = 6V

Current in the resistor = V/R = 6/6 = 1 A

Heat dissipated in resistor = I2Rt=12×4×5=20J

Therefore, option (c) is correct.
